New paintings from her own garden and Descanso Gardens, nearby Missions, seascapes, desert and scenes from her recent trip around the western half of the United States make up most of the collection. These include Yosemite, Yellowstone, The Grand Tetons, the Arizona and Utah desert and Oregon and Washington Mountains and streams. Other paintings reflect memories of trips all over the world. With over 666 solo shows to her credit, she has sold thousands of paintings to private and corporate collectors throughout the world. She has had 36 annual one woman shows in Descanso Gardens
During July and August Ruth exhibits her paintings at the Art-A-Fair Festival in Laguna Beach, California.

As a professional artist, Ruth was featured as "Artist of the Month" at the Bullocks showrooms for ten years.
Among her collectors is the Transamerica Corp, who commissioned her to travel and paint 72 scenes for their offices. Other corporate collectors include Weyerhouser Corp of Washington, The Headington Companies of Dallas, Texas;. The California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, Ca; Robinson Development Co, Newport, Ca; and Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena ,Ca.
Among California hospitals finding her work soothing to their recovering patients are: UCLA Medical Center, in Westwood, San Diego Children's Hospital, Loma Linda Medical in Loma Linda, Mission in Mission Viejo. Arcadia, Laguna Hills, Irvine, and the Methodist in Arcadia, and many retirement centers
As a teacher of painting, Ruth has devoted 12 years sharing her knowledge, skill and inspiration to over 600 students, some of whom are today's most highly regarded artists. She has taught in the adult division of the Los Angeles City schools, Pasadena City College, and Brand Art Center in Glendale. She Received her training at UCLA, Glendale and Pierce Colleges in California and studied with more than 50 of the worlds leading artists.
While competition has never been a goal, her works continue to garner top awards, including 1st place in both seascape and Floral while a member of the prestigious California Art Club. Listed in "Who's Who in American Art", she continues to produce exemplary art.
